Connectivity and Versatility

Just touch the cell phone icon in the receiver display for direct access to the Bluetooth display. Special symbols will light up when a Bluetooth connection is established, and pairing is is easy and automatic. 10-key dialing via touchscreen is also now included on Pioneer Bluetooth receivers.

Versatile Media Playback

Play back your favorite CDs and DVDs, along with various digital files: MP3/WMA/AAC audio, DivX/DVD/VCD video, and JPEG images.

USB Port/SD Card Slot

Connect a USB thumb drive loaded with files, and enjoy playback of files from your digital library. Or do the same with an SD Card, for an even more portable option.

iPod Direct Control

Connect your iPod/iPhone and enjoy music directly from your device, with complete control of unit functions right from the receiver. If you'd prefer, switch over to "application mode" to control from the iPod/iPhone itself.

Pandora Integration

Fans of the Internet music service Pandora, rejoice! The AVH-P6300BT, thanks to Pioneer's new Pandora Ready feature, can give you direct control of Pandora through your iPhone. Launch Pandora on your connected iPhone, and you'll be able to experience Pandora through your receiver, complete with bookmarking and thumbs up/down buttons.

Audio/Video Performance

Dual-Zone Audio/Video

This receiver allows rear seat passengers to enjoy DVD or CD content via additional rear screens and headphones, even while the front passenger and driver operate navigation or listen to audio from other sources simultaneously.

Auto EQ

It's difficult to reproduce music well in a car, because speaker positioning is constrained by interior space and other conditions. These limitations can lead to sound phase distortion, as well as speaker sound reflection against glass and absorption by dashboard and seats. Pioneer's unique Auto EQ feature tailors specific musical characteristics according to your taste, and uses a microphone (the optional CD-M20) to monitor and analyze acoustics, then automatically fine-tunes all frequency bandwidths using front and rear speaker digital parametric equalization. It's similar to the setup feature on many home theaters, and will let you dial things in just right for your vehicle.

Pioneer AVH-P6300BT Sound Center Control
Sound Center Control optimizes the soundstage for different spots in the vehicle cabin.
Pioneer Advanced Sound Retriever
Above--sound quality deterioration from compressed audio files. Pioneer's Advanced Sound Retriever restores detail, warmth, and clarity.
Sonic Center Control

More audio obsessiveness from Pioneer--unless a listener is perfectly centered in a car cabin, sound heard from some speakers will lag compared to the sound heard from other speakers. This result in unfocused soundstage and instable frequency characteristics. Sonic Center Control remedies this by adjusting frequency phase and acoustic characteristics by up to 15 steps, providing a clearer, focused soundstage.

Advanced Sound Retreiver

Hear the detail, warmth, and clarity that the artist originally wanted you to hear from compressed MP3, WMA and AAC files stored on disc, USB device, iPod/iPhone, and portable media players. Pioneer's Advanced Sound Retriever technology restores data (especially high-frequency data) that tends to get lost in the digital compression process.

Eight-Band EQ

With Pioneer's eight-band graphic equalizer, you can customize the equalization levels to best match the acoustics of your car.

MOSFET Amplification

The AVH-P6300BT cranks out 4 channels of 50 Watts with efficient MOSFET amplification, and offers three 4V RCA preamp outputs for growing your system.

Room to Grow

The AVH-P6300BT gives you a great featureset to begin with, but it's ready to expand to suit your needs. You can add Bluetooth as mentioned above, along with GPS navigation, satellite radio, HD radio, and a rear-view camera in a snap. Start out big, go bigger.

5Perfect AV Receiver for My WS6 T/A
By Rainman69
This Head unit, Pioneer AVH-P6300BT is an excellent fit for my car. It is perfect for any vehicle that only will accept a single DIN dash opening. Mine is more like 1.5 DIN but with the Crutchfield adapter fits great. The only modification I had to do is to trim off the rear support inside the dash. Dremel tool tape and about two minutes of my time.
The 7' screen is nice and big. It features touch screen controls with manual volume, SRC and FWD / REV buttons. most all other functions are touch screen. The FWD and REV also have duplicate touch controls on screen. There is a USB port on front, and an aux in for a 1/8 mini. This jack is also used for the Auto EQ function.

Mine is connected to several Amps powering 12 speakers and a 10' sub. I yanked out the crappy Monsoon System. Excellent sound, very loud, but crisp and clear.

This thing is not short on connections. 6 channels of outputs, Bluetooth mic for hands free calling, video out for back seat monitors, USB,
Aux in, SD card reader, rear view camera input, interface bus, tethered remote input, etc....
Flip out screen is very stable especially in a lowered Trans-Am with sport suspension
You can adjust the screen viewing angle to lay slightly forward, straight, and laying back. You can use a standard iPod/iPhone USB cable to listen to audio. However you need to purchase the cable required to view video/audio! Use cable below.
Pioneer CD-IU51V AV iPod/iPhone Cable for Pioneer AV and Navigation models
My only gripe is I haven't gotten the Auto EQ to work......yet. But not much of an inconvenience because you can program the 8 band EQ just like a normal EQ.

Plus I got mine when the price was $569 :) now it's $695 : Ouch.

5Pioneer flipface packs a punch
By Saif
Well, I was apprehensive at best to purchase this item. I guess because I am always afraid of things breaking or it never being what I expected. i must say I was wrong on both accounts. The flipface is strong and durable, and it is a very low profile unit that's seamlessly fits into my BMW. The adjustable colors blends into th e orange lighting as well which makes it look just like a factory stereo. Lots of adjustable settings and it all flips up and tucks back away in less than 5 seconds. I love Pioneer products and you truly get alot for your money.

5WOW just WOW
By Grizzz
i have this unit installed on my 2010 toyota corolla. this thing is beautiful!!! the unit is easy to use, very responsive, and the built in amp gives my other amps an extra kick!!

it is a head spinner btw, driving around with this thing does give your car allot of attention.

and if you turn your car off it automatically closes, and reopens when your car is turned on, which makes it even more entertaining.

Update!!!
The bluetooth mic on this unit is HORRIBLE!!! and even more so a replacement for it is expensive!! the microphone worked for 2 weeks before it died on me and now i have to buy a new one
